Our Mission
Child & Family Services NEMI is excited to announce the rebranding of the agency and some exciting new programming that will be coming out. In early 2024, Child & Family Services NEMI will transition into Northeast Michigan Family Resource Center. Northeast Michigan Family Resource Center will have all existing programming, with some additional programs that provide training and resources to all of the counties we serve.
Northeast Michigan Family Resource Center will offer a “Pint-Size Playland” in which child development areas will be setup as a mini city/community (grocery store, fire station, library, farm, etc.) The Family Resource Center will also offer a menu of parenting/caregiver interactive workshops in-person, online, and hybrid. A community kiosk for targeted supports to community resources and referrals, resource lending library supported through the Great Start to Quality Northeast Resource Center, and life skill training and development center for youth. The Family Resource Center will be available to parents/caregivers, early childhood educators, and the community in all surrounding counties.
